Carbonara Pizza Recipe
Cooked to perfection in our EK4923 Pizza Oven
Ingredients
90g mozzarella 75g uncooked bacon, cut into 1-2” slices 40g grated Parmesan cheese 1 medium egg Extra-virgin olive oil Zest of 1 lemon Freshly cracked black pepper
Method
Step 1: Scatter the grated Parmesan cheese over the base, then add the bacon pieces and sliced mozzarella and season all with black pepper
Step 2: Slide the pizza onto the pizza stone and cook for 30 seconds, then remove from the oven and pour the egg onto the pizza, then bake for a further 30 seconds or until the egg is perfectly cooked
Step 3: Top with a drizzle of olive oil and add the lemon zest
