Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs Recipe
Super easy to prepare using one of our Salter dual air fryers.
Step 1: Toast the salt and pepper without oil in a frying pan over a low/medium heat. Toss until the salt darkens and then remove from the heat and stir in the five-spice seasoning. Set aside to cool.
Step 2: If using a rack of ribs, prepare by cutting downwards between the bones.
Step 3: Rub the spare ribs lightly with the seasoning mixture, cover and refrigerate for approx. 2 hours.
Step 4: Spray the spare ribs on all sides with cooking spray.
Step 5: Plug in and switch on the air fryer at the mains power supply.
Step 6: Set the temperature to 200ºC and the time to 15–20 mins and carefully place the spareribs into the relevant cooking drawer.
Step 7: Check that the spare ribs are cooked through before removing from the air fryer.
Step 8: Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
