Chorizo Pizza

Ingredients

256g tomato pizza sauce 60g mozzarella 6-8 chunks cooking chorizo 4 basil leaves 1 garlic clove, peeled and chopped 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Freshly ground black pepper

Method

Step 1: In a saucepan, heat the oil and fry the garlic over a low heat until lightly golden Step 2: Stir the garlic into the passata then spoon the sauce into the centre of the rolled out dough and spread out using the back of a spoon Step 3: Scatter the chorizo and mozzarella on top, then slide the pizza onto the pizza stone and bake for 1 minute or until the pizza crust is browned, rotating 180° halfway through cooking Step 4: Once cooked, remove from the pizza oven and add freshly ground pepper and basil leaves on top
