  • 1 bottle red wine
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • Zest of 2 oranges
  • 4 tsp mixed spice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 star anise
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Frozen cherries or cranberries

Cooking in a slow cooker will make it really easy for you to prep ahead of time, and will also fill your home with a lovely festive aroma, so guests are greeted with Christmassy scents as soon as they walk through the door!
