Honey and Herb Charred Parsnips
Delicious cooked in our EK4923 Pizza Oven
Ingredients
6 medium parsnips, peeled and cut lengthways
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp fresh parsley, minced
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, minced
1 tsp salt
Method
Step 1: Preheat the pizza oven for 4-6 minutes
Step 2: While the oven preheats, combine the honey, salt, and melted butter in a small bowl and coat the parsnips in the mixture, then rub evenly with the fresh herbs
Step 3: When the oven is ready, place the coated parsnips into a cast iron pan and place inside the oven
Step 4: After 3 minutes, flip the parsnips and cook for a further 3 minutes, or until they are cooked through, before serving
