Lemon and Thyme Pork Chops
Delicious cooked in our EK4923 Pizza Oven
Ingredients
2 large pork chops
6 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
½ lemon, juiced and zested
1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tbsp butter
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Method
Step 1: While the pizza oven preheats, combine the garlic, thyme, olive oil, black pepper, salt, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a large bowl
Step 2: Generously coat the pork chops with the marinade and set aside for 20 minutes
Step 3: When the oven is ready, place the pork chops within a cast iron pan and return to the oven
Step 4: After 4 minutes, carefully flip the pork chops before cooking for a further 2 minutes
Step 5: Remove the pork chops and coat in any remaining marinade, then cook for another 2 minutes or until cooked through, then serve with your choice of sides
