Ingredients

ONION BHAJIS

  • 2 large white onions
  • 100 g gram flour
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp hot chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 90 ml water
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 cucumber, finely chopped
  • coriander leaves to taste

DIP

  • 100 g yoghurt

Method

  1. Slice the onions and mix in a bowl with all the dry ingredients.
  2. slowly add the water to mix to form a batter, add extra drops of water if it feels to thick.
  3. Add a little bit of oil to the air fryer and spoon the mixture in.
  4. Air fry at 190 degrees for 13-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  5. Meanwhile, mix the yogurt, cucumber and coriander in a bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste.
