Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients
300g of fresh strawberries
50g caster sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
600ml of whipping cream
1 tin of condensed milk 200g
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Method
Step 1: Slice up the strawberries and mix with the lemon and sugar
Step 2: Heat over a low heat until the strawberries start to break down and the sauce thickens
Step 3: Meanwhile, whip the condensed milk and cream with a hand mixer, until soft peaks form
Step 4: Once the strawberries have cooled, take roughly half out of the pan, and mash them up (this half and half method gives you the perfect consistency!)
Step 5: Fold the strawberry mixture through the double cream and condensed milk, along with the vanilla extract
Step 6: Pop the mixture in a loaf tin and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight
