Tomato and Chilli Soup Recipe
Delicious cooked in one of our Salter Soup Makers.
400g tinned plum tomatoes
800ml chicken or vegetable stock
1 carrot, peeled and chopped
1 celery stick, chopped
1 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
Small bunch coriander leaves
Chilli, salt, and pepper, to taste
Step 1: Add the olive oil to the jug to prevent the ingredients from sticking, then add all the ingredients to the jug.
Step 2: Stir all the ingredients together to ensure they are combined.
Step 3: Select the 'Smooth' soup function. Allow the cycle to run.
Step 4: Once the soup cycle is finished, select the 'blend' function and use until the desired consistency is reached.
