Valentine's Chocolate Truffles Recipe

Makes 20 truffles


150ml double cream
150g 70% Dark Chocolate, chopped
1 knob of butter
Cocoa powder


Step 1: Add the cream to a pan on medium high heat. Once the cream is hot, add the knob of butter and stir until melted.
Step 2: Place the chopped chocolate into a heat proof bowl and pour the hot cream over, whisking until the chocolate melts.
Step 3: Pour into another bowl and refrigerate for at least two hours until set. Take out of the fridge 30 minutes before you make your truffles until the mixture is room temperature.
Step 4: To make the truffles, scoop the chocolate out using a teaspoon and shape into balls.

Roll the truffles in cocoa powder and place them on a serving dish or in a chocolate box for the perfect gift.
