Crispy Sesame Fried Chicken Recipe
Great to make in one of our Air Fryers. For a dual air fryer, simply double up on the quantities.
90g chicken breast strips
40g rolled porridge oats
25g self-raising flour
10g toasted sesame seeds
½ tbsp chicken bouillon powder
1 ½ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp soy sauce
¼ tsp dried basil
¼ tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp ground black pepper
60ml chicken stock
Step 1: Coat the chicken with ½ tsp salt, black pepper, and garlic and then chill for approximately 4 hours.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, sesame seeds, ½ tsp salt and chicken bouillon powder and set aside.
Step 3: In a second bowl, combine the flour, ½ tsp salt, onion powder, basil, oregano, soy sauce, and chicken stock.
Step 4: Dip the chicken into the stock mixture, then roll in the sesame seed mixture.
Step 5: In a 200°C air fryer, add the chicken and cook for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and the chicken is cooked through.
