Ham and Cheese Tarts Recipe

Perfect in our EK4082 Deep Fill Pie Maker

Ingredients

1/3 portion of shortcrust pastry
100g grated cheddar cheese
80g cooked ham, cut into 1cm pieces
2 medium eggs
100ml cream
Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Step 1: In a small bowl, beat the eggs, then add the cream and whisk until well mixed, then add the ham and cheese to the mixture and season with salt and pepper
Step 2: Divide the pastry in half and roll out, then use the large side on the pastry cutter to cut the base
Step 3: Line each pie mould with a pastry base, then add the filling to just below the rim and close the pie maker, cooking the pies for approx. 10 minutes until well-browned
Step 4: Once cooked, switch off the pie maker and use a heat-resistant plastic or wooden spatula to remove the pies from the pie maker and serve
