INGREDIENTS
Chicken
1 chicken breast
1 tbsp yoghurt
A pinch turmeric
A pinch cumin
A pinch paprika
Salad
1 little gem lettuce
1/2 cucumber
4 halloumi slices
Sides
1 cup frozen fries
1 tortilla, chopped
METHOD
Step 1
Cut your chicken into chunks, adding to a bowl with your yoghurt and spices.
Step 2
Add one air fryer basket with fries. Then, line the other air fryer basket and add in the chicken chunks.
Step 3
Set your fries to 200°C for 20 minutes, and your chicken to 180°C for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Whilst everything cooks, cut your gem lettuce into chunks, as well as your cucumber, then add to a bowl and add your dressing of choice, mixing well.
Step 5
Once your fries are 5 minutes away from being done, add your metal rack attachment to that compartment of the air fryer, then add your slices of halloumi and close the drawer to continue the cooking process.
Step 6
If your halloumi doesn’t brown in this time, cook for another few minutes.
Step 7
Once your fries are crispy, halloumi is brown and chicken is cooked, start assembling your gyros bowl.
Step 8
Add your salad to the base, top with your fries, chicken, halloumi and tortilla pieces. Top your halloumi with honey, or hot honey, and enjoy!
