Air Fryer Home-made Crispy Chips
Make crispy homemade air fryer chips with just a little oil. Parboiled potatoes are cooked at high heat for fluffy centres and golden, crunchy outsides. A simple, healthier alternative to deep-fried chips, ready in around 30 minutes. — Team Salter

- 500 g Potatoes
- 1/2 tbsp Cooking oil
Method
- Cut the potato into chips approx. 1 cm wide.
- Place the chopped potatoes into a pan of cold water. Bring the water to the boil and parboil the potatoes for approx. 3 minutes.
- Preheat the hot air fryer to .
- Drain the potatoes and dry thoroughly using a paper towel.
- Coat the chopped potatoes with ½ tbsp of cooking oil or oil spray and add them to the non-stick coated cooking basket. Check that they are fully coated for best results.
- Cook at for 18-25 minutes.
- Shake the chips regularly (approx. every 6 minutes) to make sure that they cook evenly.
- Once cooked through and crispy, remove from the hot air fryer, season and enjoy.
