Strawberry and Burrata Balsamic Salad

Creamy burrata and sweet summer strawberries


250g strawberries, hulled and quartered
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp maple syrup
A handful of fresh basil, finely chopped
200g burrata balls (or 200g buffalo mozzarella, teared)
Maldon sea salt
Freshly cracked pepper
Crostini for serving


Step 1: Combine the strawberries in a bowl with the balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, basil, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Allow to marinate for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Place the strawberries onto a serving platter. Split the burrata balls (or mozzarella) and add them to the platter. Season with salt and pepper and scatter with chopped basil leaves. Serve with crostini.
