Bangers and Mash Waffles Recipe
Super easy to prepare using our EK2249 Deep Fill Waffle Maker
600g mashed potatoes
125g grated cheese
65g plain flour
2 large eggs
2 cooked sausages
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 tbsp chopped chives
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp garlic powder
Step 1: In a large bowl, mix together the butter, buttermilk and eggs.
Step 2: Add the mashed potatoes and chives, stir to combine.
Step 3: Using a separate bowl, whisk together the plain flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Step 4: Transfer the dry ingredients into the mixing bowl of wet ingredients and gently combine.
Step 5: Lightly grease the non-stick coated plates.
Step 6: Preheat the waffle maker.
Step 7: Pour the waffle batter into the centre of each non-stick coated cooking plate, until they are approx. ¾ full.
Step 8: Carefully close the lid and cook until golden brown.
Top tip! Serve with cooked sausages for a super tasty treat.
