Tomato and Chilli Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS
400g tinned plum tomatoes
800ml chicken or vegetable stock
1 carrot, peeled and chopped
1 celery stick, chopped
1 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
1 clove garlic
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
small bunch of coriander leaves
chilli, salt, and pepper to taste
METHOD
Step 1
Add the olive oil to the jug to prevent the ingredients from sticking, then add all the ingredients to the jug.
Step 2
Stir all the ingredients together to ensure they are combined.
Step 3
Select the 'Smooth' soup function. Allow the cycle to run.
Step 4
Once the soup cycle is finished, select the 'blend' function and use until the desired consistency is reached.
