  • 400 g tinned plum tomatoes
  • 800 ml chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 celery stick, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • small bunch of coriander leaves
  • chilli, salt, and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Add the olive oil to the jug to prevent the ingredients from sticking, then add all the ingredients to the jug.
  2. Stir all the ingredients together to ensure they are combined.
  3. Select the 'Smooth' soup function. Allow the cycle to run.
  4. Once the soup cycle is finished, select the 'blend' function and use until the desired consistency is reached.
