Vegetarian Sausage Rolls:

Easily made with our range of non-stick frying pans and mini food choppers.


200g mushrooms of choice
3 tbsp olive oil
2 leeks
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp sage
60g mature cheddar
70g white breadcrumbs
320g ready rolled puff pastry
1 beaten egg, to glaze


Step 1: Pulse mushrooms in a food blender until finely chopped.
Step 2: Add olive oil to a frying pan and add leeks, with a pinch of salt.
Step 3: Fry until softened and then transfer into a bowl.
Step 4: Fry mushrooms for 10 minutes and then add the garlic, sage and mustard.
Step 5: Leave to cool.
Step 6: Heat the oven to 200°C.
Step 7: Combine the mushroom mixture with the leeks and then add grated cheese and breadcrumbs.
Step 8: Work everything together until the mix is slightly stodgy.
Step 9: Roll out puff pastry and cut out rectangles for the rolls.
Step 10: Add your mushroom mix into the middle and then seal around the mix and press the edges with a fork to create parcels. Transfer the rolls to a non-stick baking tray.
Step 11: Brush each one with egg and bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
Step 12: Allow to cool and enjoy!
