Brie and Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese:
Prepare easily in one of our slow cookers.
Ingredients:
300ml semi-skimmed milk
300ml double cream
50g butter
½ tsp salt
1 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp Dijon mustard
350g macaroni
100g cheddar, grated
25g parmesan
150g brie
Crispy bacon
6 heaped tbsp. cranberry sauce
Method:
Step 1: Place the milk, cream, butter, salt, garlic, mustard and macaroni into a slow cooker.
Step 2: Cook on low for 1 hour and then stir.
Step 3: Cook on low again for 45 minutes.
Step 4: Add in cheddar and parmesan and stir.
Step 5: Cook on low for 30 minutes. During this time, chop your bacon up into small pieces.
Step 6: Add brie, cranberry sauce and bacon.
Step 7: Cook on high for 15 minutes.
