Cookie Dough Waffles Recipe

Perfect in our EK2249 Deep Fill Waffle Maker

Ingredients

225g self-raising flour
200g chocolate chips
125g butter, softened
125g caster sugar
100g light brown sugar
1 large egg
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp salt

Method

Step 1: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, caster sugar, and light brown sugar.
Step 2: Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and Greek yoghurt to make the cookie dough and finally mix in the self-raising flour, salt, and chocolate chips.
Step 3: Roll the cookie dough into a thick sausage and slice into equal sized slices.
Step 4: Lightly grease the non-stick cooking plates and preheat the waffle maker, then place the cookie dough onto the non-stick coated cooking plates and cook for approx. 5 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
