Pineapple Inside-Out Cake Recipe

A retro cake staple, made simply using our Omelette Maker.
INGREDIENTS
2 pineapple slices
110g self-raising flour
1 egg
75ml milk
2 tbsp margarine, melted
2 tbsp caster sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar
ice cream to serve
METHOD
Step 1
Mix the eggs, self-raising flour, milk and margarine together in a bowl.
Step 2
Divide the cake mixture between the two cooking plates.
Step 3
Mix the crushed pineapple with the brown sugar and spoon carefully into the centre of the cake mixture.
Step 4
Cook for 15-17 minutes.
Step 5
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
