Shortcrust Pastry Recipe
Makes 4 pies
Perfect for pies in our Deep Fill Pie Maker
Ingredients
300g flour
150g cold butter, cut into 2cm cubes
4-5 tbsp milk or cold water
Pinch of salt
Method
Step 1: Add the flour, butter, and salt to a food processor and whizz briefly until the fat is rubbed into the flour and the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
Step 2: With the motor running, gradually add the water to the food processor until the dough comes together, only adding enough water to bind the dough.
Step 3: Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for approx. 10-15 minutes before using.
